Totem Automobili Returns to Monterey Car Week 2025 with Three Unique Creations

Totem Automobili is proud to announce its return to the United States this August for the 2025 edition of the Monterey Car Week, one of the most prestigious automotive events in the world. This year, the Italian car maker will present three very special vehicles that mark a new chapter in the company’s evolution – highlighting significant aesthetic refinements and advanced technical developments.

Among the key unveilings is a new vehicle that marks the beginning of an official collaboration with E. Marinella, the historic Neapolitan brand known worldwide for its refined silk ties. This project explores the intersection between craftsmanship and automotive design, and reflects the shared values of tradition and innovation.

Totem will also debut a new electronically adjustable suspension system, engineered to be operated directly from the cockpit. With 10 driving modes and 25 possible combinations, this system allows the driver to precisely adapt the car’s handling characteristics to road conditions and driving style.

Throughout the week, Totem Automobili will participate in several major events, including:

– Motorlux Wednesday 13th – Monterey Jet Center, Monterey (CA), 6:00 pm – 10:30 pm

– The Santa Lucia Preserve Concours Thursday 14th – Santa Lucia Preserve, Carmel (CA), 6:00 pm – 10:00 pm

– The Quail A Motorsports Gathering – Friday 15th – The Quail Lodge, Carmel (CA), 9:00 am – 4:00 pm

– Concorso Italiano Saturday 16th – Bayonet Black Horse, Seaside (CA), 10:00 am – 4:00 pm

– Exotics on Broadway Saturday 16th – Seaside (CA), 11:00 am – 4:00 pm

– Monterey Motorsports Festival Saturday 16th – Monterey (CA), 5:00 pm – 11:00 pm

At The Quail, Totem will lift the veil on a new creation shrouded in anticipation – a model that signals a bold step forward in the brand’s journey. Evolved from the acclaimed GTAmodificata concept revealed at the latest Geneva International Motor Show, this final unveiling promises to captivate those with a passion for racing spirit and design purity. Sharper, more visceral, and born from motorsport inspiration, this new model represents the final chapter in the Totem GT Series. Full details remain under wraps – for now.

“Coming back to Monterey this year is incredibly exciting for us. Over the past year, we’ve made major strides on the technical front, pushing our engineering and design capabilities further than ever before. The project we’ll unveil at The Quail is something we’ve poured our energy and passion into throughout the first half of 2025. Every detail, down to the smallest line and finish, has been refined with obsessive care. Honestly, I just can’t stop – this work drives me every day, and I can’t wait to share it with you.”

Porsche Santa Clarita to Unveil Manthey Racing Inspired 2007 Porsche 997 GT3 MR

LOS ANGELES (August 11, 2025) – Porsche Santa Clarita will pull the cover off a rare Manthey Racing-equipped 2007 Porsche 997 GT3 MR on Friday, Aug. 15, during the Porsche Classic Restoration Challenge at the Werks Reunion.

This special car blends the analog driving experience of the Porsche 997 with modern racing technology, while paying homage to Manthey Racing’s success. Inspired by the legendary 911 GT3 R “Grello,” the build reimagines the race car as a street-legal tribute to one of Porsche’s most iconic race cars.

The original engine was sent to Manthey, where it was upgraded from a 3.6-liter to a 4.2-liter flat-six. The power output increased from 415 to 523 horsepower, aided by an ECU tune, GT3 R intake system, 997 Cup manifolds, an Akrapovič exhaust and an upgraded rotating assembly.

The chassis received Manthey-spec KW coilovers, control arms and an alignment, as well as a center-lock conversion with BBS E88 wheels and upgraded brakes for track performance. Its exterior features a Manthey front spoiler, GT3.2 rear spoiler and signature 4.2 end plates. The car is finished with a specialized House of Kolor Kameleon paint, a color-shifting finish that transitions from turquoise to purple.

Inside, Porsche Santa Clarita partnered with CarBone to craft an OEM+ cabin inspired by Porsche’s Sonderwunsch program. Magenta Alcantara and leather accents contrast with purple carpeting, while a rare 1968 Heuer Super Autavia motorsports clock replaces the standard Sport Chrono. Additional upgrades include GT3 RS bucket seats, a 991-generation sport steering wheel, a CAE short shifter paired with a purple heartwood shift knob and a roll cage painted to match the exterior.

“This build represents the pinnacle of what’s possible when we honor Porsche’s heritage while pushing the boundaries of performance. To our knowledge, this is the only Manthey 4.2 build of its kind in the country. It’s a truly special car that embodies Porsche’s motorsport spirit while remaining fully street capable.”
