GRÖBMING, Austria (June 29, 2026) – The 34th Ennstal Classic will once again bring together numerous well-known names from motorsport, business, culture and sport in 2026. They are all united by a passion for historic automobiles and the fascination of an event that has been one of the most renowned classic car rallies in Europe for decades.

With Tobias Moretti and Matthias Walkner, two of Austria’s most prominent names will be at the start. The internationally acclaimed actor Tobias Moretti has spent many years pairing his artistic career with a deep passion for historic vehicles and motorsport. As a two-time Rally Raid World Champion and 2018 Dakar winner, Matthias Walkner made motorsport history as the first Austrian to win the motorcycle classification at the Dakar Rally.

Top chef Johann Lafer will mark his Ennstal Classic debut in 2026. The internationally renowned restaurateur and passionate classic car enthusiast will take part in the traditional rally for the first time.

Richard Lietz, one of Austria’s most successful GT drivers, will also be on hand. The Porsche factory driver has claimed six class victories at the 24 Hours of Le Mans and won the FIA World Endurance Championship title in the GT category.

Laura Kreihammer, an accomplished racing driver also known to the wider public as an expert and on-screen presenter for the GRIP motoring magazine, will be represented as well. German ski racer Thomas Dreßen, a five-time World Cup downhill winner, has long demonstrated his technical instincts not only on the slopes but behind the wheel of historic cars too.

Siegfried “Sigi” Wolf, one of Austria’s most influential industrial figures, has held leading positions across the international automotive and supplier industry for decades.

The Ennstal Classic also draws considerable attention on social media, with influencers including @alaiialt (France), @classiclifestyleleco (Great Britain), @leaniedermeier, @chiaradumonde, and @phil.beis taking part. Together, they reach several hundred thousand classic car and motorsport fans across Europe.

Another highlight awaits visitors on Saturday, July 25, at the Porsche Design Grand Prix in Gröbming. Alongside the Ennstal Classic participants, numerous well-known figures from motorsport, sports, and culture are expected to attend.

Timo Bernhard, one of the most successful endurance drivers of recent decades, is coming to the Enns Valley. The German has won the 24 Hours of Le Mans, the 24 Hours of the Nürburgring, and the FIA World Endurance Championship twice.

A special highlight for motorsport fans is the reunion of the legendary “Trio Infernale.” With Hans-Joachim Stuck, Dieter Quester, and Leopold Prince of Bavaria, the iconic trio will appear together in full at the Porsche Design Grand Prix in Gröbming for the first time this year. After last year’s planned reunion fell through at short notice, fans can look forward to seeing the three crowd favorites appear together again in 2026.

Rally legend Rauno Aaltonen, known in motorsport circles as “The Professor,” made history with a Monte Carlo Rally win and a European Rally Championship title. The Ennstal Classic also welcomes singer and actor Peter Kraus, who has long been closely tied to the classic car scene.

Daniele Audetto, one of Europe’s most experienced and successful motorsport managers, is also traveling to Gröbming. The former Ferrari sporting director played a role in several Formula 1 world championship titles and went on to manage other renowned racing teams.

Hans Knauß represents Austrian sports in Gröbming. The former World Cup winner from Schladming is now one of the country’s best-known TV pundits.

Motorsport fans can also look forward to a special reunion with Klaus Ludwig. The three-time DTM champion, three-time winner of the 24 Hours of Spa, and two-time winner of the 24 Hours of Nürburgring ranks among the most successful German race car drivers of all time.

In 2026, the Ennstal Classic once again brings together an extraordinary lineup of motorsport legends, accomplished athletes, entrepreneurs, and cultural figures, making the Enns Valley the meeting point for the international classic car scene for four days.
