Max Chilton’s First Reaction to Seeing the McMurtry Spéirling PURE in Production Form

In this new film, McMurtry Automotive test driver and former F1 and IndyCar driver, Max Chilton, visits the company’s new production facility in the Cotswolds, England, to see the first production-spec Spéirling PURE in build.

Together with McMurtry’s co-founder and Managing Director, Thomas Yates, Max delves into the production car’s new features both from a driving and ease-of-running perspective.

Also settling into the carbon monocoque for the first time, Max gives his impressions on the driver’s field of view, seating position and comfort.

Max Chilton comments: “It’s the ultimate track weapon. It’s going to be so cool to see a client take their own car to a hillclimb and probably break the record.”

No more than 100 examples of the Spéirling PURE will be produced. First customer deliveries begin later in 2026.
