MODENA (July 16, 2026) – Maserati and Poltrona Frau In Motion, the specialized automotive, aviation, and marine interior division of Poltrona Frau, have unveiled the Maserati Weekend Bag. This limited-edition capsule collection of 100 travel bags celebrates the luxury automaker’s centennial and the rich heritage of Italian Grand Touring.

The project stems from an ongoing creative dialogue between Maserati and Poltrona Frau In Motion, two brands rooted in Italian luxury and classic elegance. Maserati brings its signature Grand Touring lifestyle to the partnership—currently showcased in the Grecale, GranTurismo, and GranCabrio—while Poltrona Frau In Motion contributes generations of artisan craftsmanship and timeless design. Together, they have created a collection that fuses innovation, sustainability, and exceptional craftsmanship, turning premium materials into a unique narrative.

The Maserati Weekend Bag
Designed to bring effortless elegance to any journey, the Maserati Weekend Bag updates the classic duffel with a sleek, contemporary silhouette. Handcrafted in Italy from premium Cuoio leather, the bag features a structured shape, burnished metal hardware, a secure zipper closure, and a canvas shoulder strap with a custom-branded pad.

The front flap features an embossed Maserati trident, while the side panel is stamped with a special centennial logo. Inside, the blue canvas lining features a beige trident monogram and a leather-trimmed pocket. A metal plaque engraved with the bag’s specific production number ensures that each of the 100 pieces is unique. From its hand-finished stitching to its protective metal feet, the bag balances everyday utility with high-end luxury.

Craftsmanship, Innovation, and Sustainability
Each weekend bag is crafted from Maserati automotive leather reclaimed through a circular economy project by SUSTAINera, the Stellantis recycling and circular economy division. The leather comes from tanneries with Gold-level certification from the Leather Working Group (LWG), which evaluates environmental standards like energy efficiency, chemical safety, and water management. The project originated within Star*Up, a Stellantis global employee innovation program, and highlights how luxury craftsmanship and environmental responsibility can work hand in hand.

A New Future for Premium Materials
The collection breathes new life into manufacturing scrap, giving premium leather a second life without losing its automotive heritage. Every detail and seam honors the connection between performance and style, creating a travel accessory that emphasizes sustainability and sophisticated design.

The limited-edition Maserati Weekend Bag will be available exclusively to registered users of the Tridente app in select markets via the App Store and Google Play. Deliveries are scheduled to begin in October.
