SAN FRANCISCO (August 20, 2026) – Genesis has unveiled its first full-size electric flagship SUV, the GV90, derived from the 2024 NEOLUN concept. The model emphasizes Genesis’ “Son-nim” hospitality ethos through two main variants: the standard GV90 with conventional doors and the GV90 Neolun featuring the Neolun Arch Gate, which utilizes independently opening hidden B-pillar coach doors and 180-degree motorized swiveling front seats. A 4-seat Executive Suite variant called the GV90 Neolun First Edition offers exclusive two-tone finishes, custom 24-inch wheels, real wood veneer flooring with Korean ondol-inspired radiant heating, and standard wool cashmere trim.

Built on the flagship-exclusive eMP platform with a 127.8-inch wheelbase, the GV90 relies on a dual-motor setup generating 657 horsepower and 590 lb-ft of torque. Power is managed via Dual E-LSD and Active Rear Wheel Steering. The vehicle features a 123.5 kWh high-voltage battery providing an estimated 310-mile range and supports 350 kW fast charging from 10% to 80% in 22 minutes. The ride is managed by a multi-chamber air suspension paired with an Electronic Control Suspension system.

Occupant safety is anchored by a hidden roll cage structure, high-strength dual steel beams, and an aluminum-intensive body. The vehicle contains 12 total airbags, highlighted by the world’s first Roof Airbag designed to cover the roof glass in rollover events, as well as dual-depth passenger airbags and seat-cushion airbags. Battery safety is further supported by Thermal Runaway Protection and a cloud-based diagnostic Battery Management System.

Inside, the cabin introduces a buttonless startup system and features a pop-up 23.6-inch OLED Cinematic Display that expands to 24.6 inches when parked, complemented by a 25-inch Head-Up Display. Infotainment operates on the Android Automotive OS-based Pleos Connect system with an integrated generative AI assistant, Gleo AI. Sensory amenities include a 25-speaker Bang & Olufsen 3D sound system with Dolby Atmos, Ambient Glow mood lighting, a metal-coated heated windshield, massage seats with 15 air cells, and integrated radiant heat warmers across the armrests and door trims.
