AUBURN HILLS, Mich. (July 7, 2026) – Fiat is bringing the Topolino to the American market — a small, Italian-designed electric vehicle aimed at a very different kind of driving than typical cars. Rather than competing on speed or range, it’s built around the idea of leisurely, enjoyable trips: think coastal towns, gated communities, and resort areas rather than highways or city traffic.

  • Tops out at 19 mph as sold, but Fiat says a conversion kit will be available by late summer 2026 to bump it to 25 mph and qualify it as a Low-Speed Vehicle (LSV) — meaning it becomes legal to drive on public roads with speed limits up to 35 mph, unlike a normal golf cart restricted to private courses
  • Small footprint (about 4.5 x 8 x 5 feet) and light — just over 1,000 lbs

Price and availability
MSRP starts at $13,995 (before destination fee), and it’s already rolling out in limited numbers through select U.S. dealers.
