BRESCIA, Italy (January 18, 2024) – Entries for Sorrento Roads 2024, an event that takes the 1000 Miglia to areas other than the historic Brescia–Rome–Brescia race route, are now being accepted beginning today, Thursday January 18 at 12:00 noon.

Vehicles with a production date before 1990 will be given priority. Cars registered after that date and not certified by the Registro 1000 Miglia will also be able to enter for the race.

Now in its third edition, the event will once again cross one of the most beautiful and popular areas of the Italian peninsula April 4 – 7, 2024. The heart of the event will be Sorrento, but the route will also reach Capri, Paestum, Pompeii, Salerno and the Amalfi Coast.

A journey through the natural, cultural and gastronomic splendor of the Campania region and its breath-taking scenery awaits. The drive will start from Sorrento on Friday, April 5 and will travel along the splendid Amalfi Coast to Salerno, from where it will descend to Paestum for lunch and a visit to the Archaeological Park. In the afternoon, the route will return to Salerno, circumnavigating the Valle delle Ferriere State Reserve, climbing up to the Pompeii area and descending toward Castellammare di Stabia, before crossing the finish line in Sorrento.

The following morning, the participating cars will be on display in Sorrento’s town center before setting off for Capri. That afternoon, the traditional and exciting one-on-one challenge of the Trofeo Città di Sorrento will take place.

Entries will close on Tuesday March 5, 2024.
