SANT’AGATA BOLOGNESE (October 23, 2025) – Automobili Lamborghini is taking part for the third consecutive year in Auto e Moto d’Epoca at BolognaFiere until 26 October, with an exhibition celebrating the tenth anniversary of Polo Storico, the brand’s heritage department. The undisputed star of the stand is the oldest Lamborghini in existence, the 350 GT chassis no. 2, the first production car built by the House of Sant’Agata Bolognese. It is displayed alongside a recent discovery from the Lamborghini archive: a 1:1 scale study of the 350 GT’s interior layout, dated 1963. The display is completed by a selection of original documents and materials from the historical archive. The design center, inaugurated in the early 2000s and with its first car completed in 2005, was the first in-house department of its kind for a super sports car manufacturer and, in true Lamborghini fashion, set a trend for others to follow. It marked a turning point for the Italian super sports car marque: from this point on, every new masterpiece of design, model variant, extraordinary concept, special edition and few-offs would be directed and delivered by the Lamborghini heads of design and their teams, shaping Lamborghini’s stylistic heritage for the decades to come. SANT’AGATA BOLOGNESE (September 25, 2025) – In 1990, the Diablo heralded a new era for the Lamborghini brand, breaking the 325 km/h speed barrier and setting an all-time record for road cars of that period. The Diablo’s story started to take shape in 1985 with Project 132, conceived to deliver a successor to the Countach and create the fastest car in the world. The first prototypes revealed sharp, visionary lines that were later refined with the arrival of Chrysler in 1987, giving the model both harmony and a future-oriented vision. That was how the final silhouette was created: the scissor doors, muscular proportions, a striking rear design, and a passenger compartment that was not only sporty but also comfortable. The Lamborghini Diablo was unveiled in 1990 in the Principality of Monaco at the opening of the Monte Carlo Rally and produced until 2001: it became an icon worldwide and in automotive history.
