MUNICH (May 29, 2024) – For almost 50 years now, the BMW 3 Series has represented the core of the BMW brand. The character of the current-generation BMW 3 Series has likewise provided a case study in unwavering progress at work. MUNICH/CANNES (May 16, 2024) – Glittering movie premieres, stars gracing the red carpet and a high-performance vehicle that looks like nothing else: this is the Cannes Film Festival and yesterday it hosted the world premiere of the BMW XM Mystique Allure. This one-off creation is based on the first high-performance sports car from BMW M GmbH powered by the M HYBRID drive system. Blending progressive luxury with extravagant looks, it is inspired by British supermodel Naomi Campbell, was designed using exclusive materials from the world of haute couture and has a unique soundtrack devised in cooperation with film score composer Hans Zimmer. MUNICH/CANNES (May 8, 2024) – BMW has signed up as Official Automotive Partner of the Cannes Film Festival for the third year in a row. This means visitors to the festival will once again be able to enjoy an exclusive shuttle service featuring luxury vehicles from the premium carmaker’s current range. BMW is also using its Cannes spotlight for a special vehicle presentation. Following the successful world premiere of the BMW Films production The Calm last year, BMW will now introduce a one-off creation based on the BMW XM as part of the creative collaboration with British supermodel Naomi Campbell. MUNICH (May 8, 2024) – Into the broad space between race track experience and soul-stirring road performance comes another BMW M GmbH special edition from the BMW M3 and BMW M4 range. The all-new BMW M4 CS takes the blend of attributes typically found in high-performance cars in the premium midsize segment and turns the emotional engagement dial up a few notches. Engine output increased to 405 kW/550 hp, model-specific chassis tuning and minimized weight – helped by numerous components made from carbon fiber-reinforced plastic (CFRP) – bring an extra edge to the BMW M4 Coupé vehicle concept of four seats, everyday practicality, advanced equipment and exclusive design features. MUNICH/SWEDEN (April 23, 2024) – For the second year in a row, electric BMW cars dressed in the work of a Nordic artist can be seen around Stockholm. During this year’s Market Art Fair, 17-19 May, the BMW cars designed by Swedish artist Karin Westman will be used to drive guests to and from the fair. The idea for the initiative comes from the global BMW Art Car project, where famous artists have been applying their artworks on cars since 1975. For the second time, a Nordic artist has been selected and given the freedom to express their art on the BMW cars that will be used as shuttle cars during the days of the exhibition.
