The Porsche Museum Celebrates 15 Years

ZUFFENHAUSEN, STUTTGART (January 29, 2024) – Fifteen years ago, the Porsche Museum opened its doors to visitors from all over the world for the first time. Since January 31, 2009, it has taken 5,824,325 people on a fascinating journey through the history and development of the Porsche brand. This figure includes celebrity visitors such as Paris Hilton, the Backstreet Boys, Vladimir Klitschko, Arnold Schwarzenegger, Mario Barth, Patrick Dempsey, AC/DC, Peter Maffay, Udo Lindenberg and Georg Hackl. In 2023, the Porsche Museum broke the 2009 record for the number of visitors. In its opening year, the museum welcomed 511,513 guests, while in 2023 there were 535,613 guests. Continue reading

Porsche Sets High Goals for the 2024 Motorsport Season

STUTTGART (December 5,2023) – Porsche Motorsport heads into 2024 with big aspirations. Next year, the sports car manufacturer from Stuttgart is determined to win titles with its factory teams in the world’s largest endurance championships, at Le Mans, and various esports series. A variety of customer racing activities will supplement this programme. Porsche announced its plans on Saturday (2 December) at the annual “Night of Champions”. As part of the gala in the Weissach development centre, Nicolas Leutwiler from Switzerland was awarded the Porsche Cup as the best amateur driver of the 2023 season. Porsche 911 Achieves New Altitude World Record

SANTIAGO, Chile (December 4, 2023) – On December 2nd, racing driver Romain Dumas set a new world record at the peak of the west ridge of the Ojos del Salado volcano in Chile, piloting a significantly modified Porsche 911 running on eFuels. Porsche Introduces a New Turbo-exclusive Crest and Trim

ATLANTA (November 14, 2023) – For almost 50 years, the Turbo models have enjoyed an exalted position at Porsche. They represent the pinnacle of every model series. To emphasize their unique standing, Porsche is introducing distinct design elements to sharpen their look and distinguish them from other models in the range. The Turbo models are, for one, being given a particularly exclusive version of the modernized Porsche crest, which is distinguished by the new Turbonite color, rather than gold. The designers developed this elegant metallic grey tone especially for the Turbo variants. It is also being used on a number of other selected exterior and interior components, lending the Turbo models an even more unmistakable appearance. Porsche will be successively introducing this more pronounced differentiation to all model lines. The new Panamera generation celebrating its world premiere on November 24, 2023 will be the first to receive the new upgrades. Continue reading
