MUNICH (January 26, 2024) – Bentley Motors will showcase the road-legal, 85 percent scale recreation of the British brand’s most iconic car at the Retromobile classic event in Paris. The European debut of the hand-crafted ‘Blower Jnr’ follows a unique collaboration between Bentley’s own Heritage Collection and The Little Car Company of Oxfordshire.

Constructed from 700 individual parts to the same exacting standard as every Bentley car, the electrically-powered Blower Jnr pays homage to the 4 ½ litre Supercharged Bentley of 1929, renowned as the fastest race car of the era. Exquisitely detailed, it was inspired by Team Car No. 2, driven by the legendary ‘Bentley Boy’ Sir Tim Birkin, and today regarded as the most famous and valuable Bentley in the world.

Blower Jnr is constructed around a 48V electric powertrain and a 20 bhp (15 kW) motor. Measuring 3.7 meters long and 1.5 meters wide, the tandem two-seater has a top speed of 45 mph (72 km/h) in the UK and EU (25 mph/40 km/h in the USA due to legislation) and is expected to travel up to 65 miles (105 km) on a single charge.

A faithful reproduction, Blower Jnr is designed to be used on the road. The front-mounted supercharger housing now contains a charging port, while the electric motor is mounted across the rear axle. Elsewhere, the fuel pressure pump has been repurposed as a drive mode selector, while the steering wheel itself is rope-bound, as per the original.

To be even more exclusive and appealing, the first 99 examples of Blower Jnr will be First Edition Models. These will feature First Edition badging on the hood, door sill plate and dash as well as an engraved and numbered ‘1 of 99’ plaque. The side panel and radiator carry the period-correct racing number, while the steering wheel is rope-bound.

The Bentley Blower Jnr will make its European debut at Retromobile, one of the key events in the classic car calendar. It is held at Paris Expo Porte de Versailles between January 31 and February 4 2024.
