PEBBLE BEACH, Calif. (August 16, 2026) – The 1935 Duesenberg SSJ Special Speedster, owned by collector Harry Yeaggy of Cincinnati, Ohio, was named Best of Show today at the 75th Pebble Beach Concours d’Elegance, capping a five-day celebration of automotive excellence on the Monterey Peninsula.

The award, widely regarded as the most prestigious honor in the collector car world, was announced on the 18th fairway of Pebble Beach Golf Links following a full day of judging that brought together 200 cars across two dozen classes. This year’s field featured Vignale-bodied Ferraris, Japanese motorsports icons, and cars once belonging to the Royal House of India, reflecting the breadth of the milestone 75th anniversary show.

One of only two SSJ Speedsters ever built, Yeaggy’s Duesenberg carries a history that includes prior ownership by Hollywood legend Clark Gable. The win marks Yeaggy’s second Best of Show victory; he first claimed the honor in 2007 with another Duesenberg, the SJ “Mormon Meteor” Special Speedster.

With this win, Duesenberg becomes the winningest American marque in Pebble Beach Concours history, now with eight Best of Show trophies.

This year’s Concours also marked a significant transition for the event, closing out a 40-year run by outgoing chairman Sandra Button, whose leadership helped shape the show into its current global stature.
